Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement (German: Barrierefreiheitserklärung) explains how accessible the site is and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA — the recognised international standard for accessible websites. We build and review the site with that standard in mind.
Known limitations
We believe the site meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. Three things to keep in mind:
- Availability and booking run through the house's own booking system on an external site. We have no influence on how accessible that system is. You can always book by phone or by email instead.
- Material added after launch, for example images or PDF documents, can fall short, such as a missing text description. We check new content against the standard as it is built, and fix what we find.
- If you hit a barrier we have not caught, please tell us (below). We treat it as a bug to fix.
Report a barrier
If you find a barrier on this site, or need something here in a different format, please tell us — we'll help, and we'll fix what we can. Email info@chalet-franz.at or use our contact form. We aim to reply within a few working days.
Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG)
This website provides information about Chalet Franz and its holiday apartments. It currently offers no online booking and no ordering function. If such consumer facing functions are added later, the formal requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act have to be reviewed, in particular the compliance status statement and the feedback and enforcement information. Microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and at most 2 million euro annual turnover are exempt.
